PouchKit ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS application.

## Information We Collect
**We do not collect any personal data.** PouchKit is designed to be privacy-first. All data you enter into the app — including loyalty card barcodes, store names, photos, and preferences — is stored exclusively on your device and synced only through your personal iCloud account if you have iCloud enabled.

## iCloud Sync
If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud container and synced across your devices via Apple's CloudKit service. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We, the developer, have no access to this data.

## Third-Party Services
### Google AdMob
PouchKit uses Google AdMob to display ads to free-tier users. AdMob may collect and process device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. This data is handled by Google in accordance with the [Google Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).
When the app is launched for the first time, you will be asked for App Tracking Transparency (ATT) authorization. If you deny this request, AdMob will serve only non-personalized ads.
### App Tracking Transparency
PouchKit requests ATT authorization solely for the purpose of allowing AdMob to serve personalized ads. If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will not be targeted based on your device's advertising identifier.
## Data Storage and Security
- All loyalty card data, barcode information, and photos are stored locally on your device using SwiftData.
- If iCloud sync is enabled, data is transmitted and stored in your personal iCloud account using end-to-end encryption provided by Apple.
- We do not operate any servers, databases, or backend infrastructure.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties (except as necessary for AdMob to serve ads, as described above).
## Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
- **Right to know** what data is collected — As stated above, we collect nothing.
- **Right to deletion** — Delete the app to remove all locally stored data. iCloud data can be deleted via iCloud settings.
- **Right to opt out** of data collection for advertising — Use the ATT prompt or disable personalized ads in iOS Settings.
## Children's Privacy
PouchKit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
## Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on this page.
